Framing Birmingham for The Vox

11 Oct 2016

Capturing iconic Birmingham buildings and landmarks that represent the meaning of Vox (voice of the people), featuring the spaces that ‘bring people together’.

Bringing people together

The Junction Eleven team was tasked by The Vox Conference Centre (part of the NEC Group) to photograph and print well known Birmingham locations (and other regional attractions) to feature in 35 frames on the walls of NEC Resorts World, covering 3 board rooms and 2 main corridors.

We proposed that the images were printed on brushed aluminium and managed the job right through from conception to print. Complementing the venue and alleviating the starkness of the space, the final wall images showcase the great places to visit in the area.

From Grand Central and The Mailbox, to the Bullring and Warwick Castle, we spent several days on location photographing the best bits of the region, ensuring that permits and licences were obtained along the way.
