Sumptuous set builds for Victoria and Albert baths
Working with specialists set builders, Andy Knight limited, 3 full scale sets were created for our recent shoot for Victoria and Albert baths.
A one week set build, a three day shoot and five complete ranges captured. All at Junction Eleven.
Once the huge sets were built and styled we spent 3 days capturing several beautiful but very different Quarrycast bath ranges, including a classic freestanding range, and a combination of Victorian slipper and double-ended roll-top bath. Whilst the classic ranges feature some beautiful ornate details the final product provided complete contrast with stunning contemporary design, combining flowing curves with stylised lines and shaping.
To capture the mood we created a full room set for each range, highlighting the product form and characteristics through architectural features and decorative accessories. The stylistic inspiration varied from rustic Italian interior design to a millionaire’s playground.
We captured the contemporary set build and shoot on a time lapse video, spanning two and a half days as the set is built, photographed and then deconstructed.
The resulting shots will be used to promote the products through PR, print and digital communications, so watch out for them in glossy mags and in Pins and Tweets alike!
