THERE’S KARCHER FOR THAT

When Kärcher UK approached us to support the launch of their new professional dry vacuum range, the brief was to showcase a series of practical product benefits in a way that would genuinely cut through on social, stopping thumbs mid-scroll without feeling like a traditional product demo.

Rather than leading with specs and technical breakdowns, we built a character-led comedy series centred around a well-meaning but chronically unlucky hotel cleaner (think Mr Bean-meets-’what-could-possibly-go-wrong’) whose enthusiasm consistently outweighs his equipment.

Scene 1 - Reception Chaos

Across five connected short films, he wrestles with awkward corners, battles catastrophic cable tangles, disrupts sleeping guests with unnecessary noise and attempts upholstery cleaning with all the wrong tools, each scenario escalating just enough before a sharply dressed, unflappable Kärcher professional glides in to restore order with calm efficiency.

Each episode was designed to spotlight a key benefit of the range - effortless manoeuvrability, smart cable management and cordless freedom, ultra-quiet performance, seamless accessory transitions and long-term durability with a sustainable build…but always through physical comedy and visual contrast rather than overt sales messaging. The humour does the heavy lifting, while the product quietly proves its point.

Scene 2 - The Spaghetti Incident

We filmed the entire campaign at The Fold in Leamington Spa, our sister company, and an incredibly flexible backdrop that allowed us to transform a reception area, corridors and lounge spaces into five distinct narrative environments without ever leaving the building.

With five films and supporting stills to capture in a single shoot day, pre-production was meticulous and blocking precise, ensuring we could move efficiently between setups while preserving performance energy and clean visual storytelling.

Scene 3 – Wake-Up Call

The result is a connected short-form series that feels cohesive, character-driven and built for modern platforms - launch content that entertains first and informs second, and a reminder that sometimes the most effective way to demonstrate professional performance is to show what happens when it’s missing!
